I received a package yesterday from George containing a great book about German coins. Now I need to learn German :D
It is a great addition to the coin book section of my book collection.
Thanks again!
I'll try to post a picture, but photobucket hasn't been cooperating with me today.

It worked ;D

What a lovely gift that is!
I hope you are able to translate. I recommend Babel fish from Yahoo, for simple translating.

Nice book--How are the pictures for each coin? That should be a very useful photo reference. :)
I need to get beyond Krause for a few other countries so I'm aware of important details like die varieties.

Nice book Adam! If you're ever interested in selling it, let me know. Germany is one of my specialty areas! ;D

Ok. But I doubt I'll ever sell it ;D I'm pretty interested in Germany as well because most of my ancestors came from there.

Actually, the pictures are pretty darn good for an old book like this.

That's what I guessed--at the time, Switzerland was one of the finest book printers in the world. (your book appears printed in Basel)

Oh. I see. Thanks for the info!

Dear AdamL;
Glad you liked the book. Learning German is not at all necessary.
They have listed about all Mints, Mintage Figures etc., Grading is also given in German.
Sincerely
George
