Her name is Thomasine Heiberg:

Not exactly an easy note to find. :o

This portrait of Thomasine Heiberg was painted by Jens Juels ca. 1790, she is best known now as the mother of Danish author Johan Ludvig Heiberg, who wrote the play Elverhoj and the mother-in-law of actress Johanne Luise Heiberg who is now on the current Danish 200 Kroner banknote. This note was issued from 1972, and withdrawn from circulation in 1998 but is still exchangeable. This note is P53c.

I like the engraving work...it reminds me of the peak of engraver's talents--before engraving was replaced by photography.

Very interesting...I wouldn't expect to see many squirrels on banknotes.  ;D
