It was pretty bad not being able to check in here 2 or 3 times a day. :)But now I'm back and the unread posts option isn't working for me. And it usually does.
So, did I miss anything especially exciting?

Adam, it was business as usual here whilst you were gone. I think you were still here when Erik joined our ranks from Slovenia, and DL20K just joined us from Poland.
Daniel Carr posted his preliminary sketch for our 2008 KOTCT Medallion.
Paint Your Wagon (August) has gone silent on us, and as far as I know noone has been in touch with him. I emailed him but have not gotten a response.
The Olympics happened; we had a contest going on how many medals the Australians would win. I believe Buda won that prize, given by Lord Percy.
Uhm. I believe it's been business as usual aside from those highlights. :D

I may easily be imagining things, but I hope it wasn't due to my comment about Leopold II in ElleKitty's post. I did not realize he was Belgian, and some Belgians find the subject controversial. :-\

Gack. My apologies to you, Sir Erik. I always get those two confused.. in fact most of my 2x2s have both of them with one or the other name scribbled out! Everyone has an Achilles heel, and I swear that must be (one of) mine. And of course, I do have four legs. Purr?

You're right--same color bands, just a different shield. I need to brush up on the new flags so I don't make mistakes. ;D
Of course...people have been mistaking Sweden with Switzerland, and Austria with Australia for years...
