They call the the Bicentenary "Polymer" Commemorative note and it was only issued in 1988. Signatures of Johnston and Fraser.
There were 2 issues as there was a problem with the first release. This note (AB21) is part of the second release.

That's a very nice note, although I have to admit the portrait is a bit startling at first glance.

I think it was the first polymer note, apart from the AA prefix.
I have two of these. One to give to each of my kids.
