Title: THE BEST BANKNOTE !!!

Lets go my older friends  :) :) What is your THE BEST banknotes in our collections ? This banknote or set maybe old or new, cheap or expensive , very colored or not - it is not important. She must be NUMBER ONE for you. It is very hard because may be only one or one set. Do you have this banknote in your collection ? I love this.  :D

Beautiful notes!  My dad brought back some of those occupation notes from Japan, but they were lost decades ago in a burglary.  >:(
What year is the Texas note? That just evokes so much history...very cool!  One of these days, I'd like to get a few AUS polymer notes.

I have a fairly sizeable collection from all over the world... How do I choose just one?

I have always liked the symmetry of design coupled with the colours and symbolism of this National Bank of Ireland note, the design dates to 1937, and was a very modern design when it was released.

But, Czechoslovakia as a nation from 1918-1938 released some of the loveliest designs ever, a high concentration of classic design by a famous graphic artist, Alfons Mucha:

Humpybong, I probably like the China 902 the best. The dragon is awesome, plus it's a polymer note with a window! :) I just put up some others for your viewing pleasure! ;) I guess I am like you.... I like all my notes... That's why I collect them! I have over 2,000 banknotes in my collection from over 200 countries. Can you top that? :o

I thought it will be very hard to choose the best banknote from yours collection. But I didnot think that somebody have over 2000 banknotes from collection !!!!! :o  My great admiration nigthhawk !!! I have similar numbers as you but about two zero less. I choosed fast.  :D
May be some from your banknotes have specialy story. Maybe you received one from your the best friend or favorite people.

As I don't collect notes, I have no idea about the years they were issued.. but anyway, here is the top five.

5. Cambodia 100 riels (all blue, with cattle),
4. Japan 50 sen Yasukuni series,
3. Korea S. 500 won (gate and ships),
2. Taiwan 50 dollar bank commemorative (1999),
