Title: Poor Man's 1955 DD Lincoln?
Post by: Dumanyu on August 08, 2008, 03:58:00 PM
While digging through my coins, I finally stuck this under the microscope. Is this a common "Poor Man's" DD 1955 Lincoln?

Thanks for your feedback,

Yes, that seems to match the photos I've seen.

I have 2 or 3 of these in my collection, and was always told by other collectors or dealers that is what I have, the so-called "poor man's doubled-die".  Thanks for sharing! :)

I've got some of those, too.
Die abrasion.
