Today in the mail I was surprised to find a packet from down under.  The little turtle that brought it wasn't terribly overburdened by weight, but what he brought is utterly, adorably cute. The scan really doesn't do it any justice.  Thanks, Triggersmob for the surprise gift!

Beautiful colored coin  :) Is it commemorative coin of Australia ? I didn´t see this coin yet. Koala is probably the best lovely animal on world.

Erik, I'm so glad to see you posting. :)

This Koala coin is part of the Royal Australian Mint's "Land Series." It will include 8 different coins featuring Australian animals.  Already, there are the Koala and the Wombat.  This set is a mate to the Ocean Series of 2007.

Yes ElleKitty, I already found those coins. They are AMAZING !!!!!  I like old coins but those Australian coins are really beautiful. My heart is going very fast.  And also coin with NEMO !!!. I have movie with lovely fish. All those coins are wounderful !!!!  :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
