				............CONTEST CHANGES ADDED.........
A small packet left Oz on Saturday 19th. for the States.
 It contains ONE coin.
 Turtles like light loads.
This competition is not for Oz members. :P

Guess the name of the recipient and the prize is yours. ;D

Add a date and time of arrival in case there are joint winners.
Nearest to the date and time of arrival wins.
If no won  by Tuesday, a clue will be offered. ;)

PRIZE: An OZ $5.00 polymer note in as good condition as I can find
(it might take me a few days to get a good one)

If there are no winners I will go and have a beer with Humpybong. ;) ;)
 Regards,

 Apologies:

The packet does contain a coin, I forgot.
Also I will declare the contest closed if a correct answer is given.
The first five guessers can have another guess, Gosh I'n generous. Still give a time and date as I only check my 'puter once a day.
 Hope that satisfys everyone.
 regards.

 First clue:
The recipient has not made a guess yet he's probably warmer than most of the others.
 Second clue:
Plant a few seeds and you might grow a clue.
 Third clue:
I think he's the only member from that particular US state.
 Forth clue:
To know him well would show he enjoys a classic beer.
 Fifth clue:
He doesn't post very often and he's not what you would call a local.

				going to Twoshadows,

 arriving on 30th of July.

Thanks for the contest.  (and the fiver. ;)  )
-
Sitting by her? Man I think they are in the same chair!!!

The package is going to CoinCrusader and will arrive on the 28th in Delta, Colorado. It should have gotten there on the 26th but the USPS managed to misplace it for a couple of days (which is normal) as the Pony Express rider needed a break due to the lighter air in the higher altitude and I believe the horse needed a good feed in Denver before heading UP and WEST!

And, in return, CoinCrusader will be sending a huge box of Colorado clouds and snow back to Australia and Muckeye. I pretty much got this trade down don't I? ;D
-
I think you've found a new lady to add to Scottishmoney's harem.

It will arrive 7/23/08 around 2:00pm

 Thanks for the game!
-
I'll guess TwoShadows on the 26th of July.

-
				I know he's a popular pick, but I also have a feeling it's Twoshadows.

So I'll surmise it's not going to anyone who's guessed here already.
My guess will be Goose, arriving 28 July, 16.00
-
I say it's going to TKO, and that it will arrive July 29th.

And really, since when have you seen Kitties sitting in chairs all by themselves?  They always pick a nice lap to curl up in.
-
				Second clue posted.

				Third clue posted.

In the kitchen, with the revolver?

				LOL ;D

-
				Miss Kitty,
Any ex serviceman will tell you a revolver is no good, get a pistol.
I am suprised that no one can pick this famous man.
Come on, put your hats on
 regards,

That probably makes that 'clue five'.
-
				Fifth clue posted.

-
Congratulations Sir 'Old Dan'. on picking the correct addressee.
I hereby declare the contest closed.
Richard (rggoodie) in Plantation, Florida is the recipient of the packet of goodies
that I posted to the States (puns intended).
He may wish to describe them when they arrive, or not.
Thank you all for participating, it's always a bit of fun.
Sir Dan, I still have not been able to find a quality note but as soon as I do, i'ts off to you.
 Once again, thank you all.
 regards,
-
I think my posting earlier this week gave Dan a clue
 I sure didn't mean to

I have not posted in this thread on purpose.

For those of you who picked a time and date.
Well it has not yet arrived but I will post the time that the post gal actually delivers it
 thanks for the contest.

-
Sir Old Dan,  the award, though not of any great value, is meant to show that the contest was a contest. Without a prize there is nothing to strive for.
Please accept with my best wishes when it arrives.. may be a week or so.
And once again thank you all for participating. The interesting bit now will be to find out just what was in the packet apart from a $1.00 Oz coin. If Richard will tell us???
 regards, ;)

Over the years I have done a number of favors for my Mates back home

 Muckeye is one

and 6:19 am Eastern time on 03 Aug in Canberra a package arrived at my home.

 Thanks Mate.

for those of you wanting to know the contents there was

 one each Australian

Yes the $1 coin is real
but the banknotes are all fridge magnets
 the flags are all stickers

and all of it was received with much gratitude.
 Thanks Bob
 hope all enjoyed the contest.   ;D    ;D   ;D   8)

Bob is a great, generous guy.

 Typical of KOTCT members.

 :) :) :) :)
-
Thanks for your comments Richard and Gary.
Richard, I hope that it helps you to maintain the status quo of that little Aussie/Kiwi enclave that you have over there. Important to keep on top of things.
Advise if you need any more.
 regards, ;)
-
				G'day Old Dan.
Sorry for being a bit slow in posting but your prize is on it's way.
The Golden Kelpie left Nanango in Queensland this morning. In his teeth he had an envelope containing your prize and a few other odds and ends in way of congratulating you on your win.
I believe that our relying on the Turtle is out of date, and a mite too slow in my opinion.
So look out, here comes the Golden Kelpie. A direct decendent of the mighty Gizmo who is from the Elfin Vale stud of kelpies.

OldDan, I loved that movie "Old Yella". As a child it made me cry, with it's sad ending. I bought the DVD not long ago and watched it again 40 years later. It didn't have quite the same effect, but nearly.

-
Just for the record, 'Old Yeller' is a cattle dog, not a Kelpie
Kelpies' are much lighter in weight and not multi coloured.
 regards,
-
				Sir 'Old Dan'.
Your "thank you" is ample reward.
Do not forget that package was earned for winning a contest. It was deserved.
Time is a good healer old mate.
