Happy Canada Day to our Canadian members.  You happen to live in a great country, with great beer, great hockey, and are better neighbours than anyone could have asked for.

They're wonderful people! I just wish the ones who are over thirty,  either in years or pounds, would stop wearing Spandex when they come down here for vacation.   :o

Thanks everyone.  It was a very nice day here in the Toronto area, but sadly, we didn't stay up for the fireworks, as my little ones would never make it that late.  It doesn't get dark until after 9:30, maybe close to 10pm until you can really do a fireworks display.  In all, we had a fun day, with face painting, Canada Day crafts, hot dogs and cotton candy, music, etc.  Not much different than a July 4th back home.

Of course, it was nice to have a day off to break up the work week as well.  :)

regards,

I'm already sorry that they're as old as they are.  It seems like we just brought them home from the hospital yesterday!  And, of course, we are all proud of the fact that they were born in the great land of Australia!  My poor kids are truly multicultural.  Born in Oz, growing up in Canada, dad from US, mom from Sri Lanka, one grandpa from Peru......  No wonder we're all fascinated with out family tree!  LOL

There is nothing like travelling on multiple countries passports aye?  No problem going into Canada, it is back that is always the hassle.
