A lovely coin that Mr. George wanted to share with the rest of the Knighthood. :)

At one time I had a complete set of Morgan Dollars except for the elusive and expensive 1895 proof. Approximately 3/4 of them were uncirculated dollars. Lost a great paying job due to cutbacks and the Morgan set was the first on the selling block. The 93S is a very tough find as are quite a few others so the set took me years to complete but only weeks to sell!!! :'(
But, the GOOD NEWS, is the fact I officially got back into Morgan Dollars just TODAY!!! Picked up a few buffalo nickels, for myself and for LordPercy, and then noticed my wife admiring some unc. Morgan dollars. Well I made up my mind right then and there if she was jumping in again she would not be jumping alone!!! She had five Unc's and one AU before I could get to the tray but I did pick out a beautiful 1883 O and a 1900 P before I left the shop. Hooked again!  ;D
Also grabbed a 1926 S in a low grade (these are getting very pricey) and a 1913 P Type 2 in Au to add to my herd. My little boy grabbed a 1938 D/D in VF to add to his fledgling collection. All in all a very good trip to the coin shop! :)

 :D

Dear Twoshades:
Wish you good luck in the completion of the Morgan Set.
Each one of us have a 'rainy day'    So the Rolling Discs come and go.
My Sachsen, Prussen and Other THALERS of Germany were gone.
But I am happy with Morgans, Peace and other Sets.
Thanks.    George

I have changed a bit in the last few years. I like anything BIG, ROUND, OLD, and PRECIOUS METAL!!! While silver is much more affordable I still admire GOLD as well. Not much gold crossing my dealer's counter these days as I have been trying to pick up some $2.50 or $5.00's for my little guy (actually his money) but with no luck. Everyone seems to be sitting on their gold. Until something frees up I can seek out those silver crowns and be very content with their beauty, regardless of where they were minted!!!
