I guess you finally got your Great White Shark coin Amr.

Very nice coin, but I still do not like sharks.

We had a 16 year old boy killed by a shark yesterday ,a few hundred kilometre's south of where I live.

They are a killing machine!

WOW, I'm sorry to hear that. I can't think of too many worse ways to meet your maker.

Fascinating creatures, but as humans go, we could do without them.

As i said, i love as well as respect it. You have to respect wild life, i learned that from a great man "Steve Irwin". You cant blame a shark, a crock or a lion for killing somebody. This is what it is created for.

Sorry again for this tragedy

I dont think so, if the top preditor disappears the food chain will be disturbed. As far as i can remember "please correct me if i am wrong"  Australia had a similar problem with rabbits that were introduced to Australia and had no natural preditor to control its number. Resulting in an environmental problem "Agricultural i think" . So humans were affected   ;)

I cant remember the whole story, since i studied that at High School (18 years ago) so i hope one of the Australian members could add more info to that.

Now they are just good target practice.
You where right in regards to the Agricultural. If you dont control the rabbit numbers on your farm you can get in a lot of trouble with the law.
So look out bugsy.

I read in the paper last weekend, that a 63 year old guy, who was training for a triathalon, got killed by what was probably a great white just 150 yards off the coast of some San Diego, CA beach.

I would have to agree that the food chain must be maintained. By saying we could do without them, I was speaking metaphorically. I personally think they are beautiful animals, and of course I don't go in the ocean.
