I know that some of you have come to rely on your friendly resident Canadian to keep you in the loop on these issues, so here you go:

There will also be two Lucky Loonies, one in 2008 and one in 2010. I don't have the release dates for them handy at the moment, but I'll be back to update you all when I do.

Curiously I got the biathlon 25¢ in change recently, and a 2008 10¢ too. I usually do not get current year coins in change until much later in the year.

I have yet to get any 2008 coins, except the snowboarding quarter, but that really doesn't count.

The RCM is on the ball, I have gotten cent, 5¢, 10¢ in 2008 dates so far, but no American 2008 coins in change yet - I live closer to the RCM than any USM, and I would estimate about 25% of our change is Canadian.
