With the addition of this coin that arrived today from Bigfella, I have now completed my Threepence (One from each year ) set.

This is only the second set I have ever completed, the other being the one cent pieces.
On to the next challenge...

Congratulations & well done!

Don't you get a great feeling when you complete something you have aimed for.
Congratulations and good luck for your next quest Steve (triggersmob).

Good for you Steve!!

It is a great feeling isnt it ;D

Regarding "a great feeling," it certainly is.
Due to the generosity of so many Aussies, I have complete collections of almost all decimal coins. But mine came from trade, gifts, and purchase.
It must be an even greater feeling to have collected an entire set on your own.
I was trying to think of any of my collections that I completed totally on my own. There aren't any. The closest one would be my Kennedy Half Dollars, but recent ones had to be purchased, as well as the 1970 D.
Regardless of how you get them, a completed set is super.
:D :D :D :D

I nearly forgot about my Lincoln cent set too, that is also complete (one for each year), except 2008,
and yes it is a good feeling to complete a set. All have been with the help of fellow members.
Thanks guys and gals.

Congratulations Steve! Yes it's a great feeling to complete a set.
Not so long ago I also completed a full threepence set minus overdates. It took a few months and when done I calculated it cost me twice as much doing it that way compared to buying a complete set! Oops. :o
I also wanted a sixpence set, but this time I bought a full set outright. Only cost me half as much as the threepence set too! Some of the early dates are poor but I can still upgrade as needed.
Florins are a different story. I'm getting them one by one so I can get to know them individually and better quality too. Unfortunately at the rate I'm going it will be about 500 years before I finish it. ::)

I think that was about the same calculations as I came up for completing my set as well, Hermit :D

Congratulations Steve :)
