Title: This Afghani coin sat in my Enigma File for 10 years...

...until eg_collector helped translate it for me, in this thread over on CCF (http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=25327).

It's an Afghanistan ½ rupee, apparently dated AH 1306 (= 1888/9 AD), KM# 419. I never would have found it without help; the pic for KM 419 in Krause doesn't look anything like this one.
