Fund Raising Coin Auction #1 - NZ 5¢
January 05, 2008, 09:24:07 AM
All proceeds of this Auction will be donated to the kitty (oops) coffers of the KOTCT as a donation towards costs of the 2008 Medallions.

I have up for Auction the following 'sets' of NZ 5¢'s, all in circulated condition:

Set 1. 2002, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1994, 1989, 1988, 1987, 1985, 1981, 1975, 1973, 1972, 1967, 2001, 1971, 1969

Set 2. 2002, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1995, 1989, 1988, 1987, 1985, 1975, 1967, 2001, 1981, 1972, 1969

Set 3. 2002, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1995, 1989, 1988, 1987, 1967, 2001, 1985, 1975

Due to there being 3 sets with differing numbers of coins, each bidder can, if they wish, make up to 3 bids, one for each set.
Eg: US$
Set 1 US$xx
Set 2 US$xx
Set 3 US$xx

I've made it US$ as I figure that most bids will be from US members.

The auction will run for 2 weeks, finishing on Sunday 20th Jan (Sat 19th for US) at whatever time I log in that morning, usually pretty early, like 5.30 am  Aust time.

Payment will be made to Twoshadows, and once receipt of payment has been confirmed by him, the coins will be sent to the winner of each set.

When this is finalised & if it has proved to be successful, I'll offer up some other 'sets' of NZ 10¢ & after that, I'll do the NZ 20¢, with proceeds going to the Forum coffers as well.

Any questions, post them here & I'll answer them ASAP.

Good Luck!

NB"  If I get any NZ coins in the next 2 wks that I don't need for my collection, the numbers in the sets could increase. Each set has had an additional 3 coins added.

Kudos to you Nevol for the first Fund Raising Auction!  Too bad it isn't going to the Kitty though. ;)

I'll bid $5 on the Set #1.

Do add this coin to my collection?

I've just finished getting the 3 sets together so I can have them ready to post & have to advise there's a mistake in all 3 sets insofar as I don't have any spare 1998 at all, however I do have several 2000 spares, so I am deleting the 1998 & replacing it with 2000.

I'm not sure how I made this mistake, must have gone cross eyed I guess.  :-\ :-\

If this is going to be a hassle for those who've put in a bid, please feel free to retract your bid.
