XL (40) Réis of 1822 - R (Rio) - Overstruck on foreign coin (most likely a earlier Spanish 8 Maravedis - i taught in a US cent as a possibility but 14.95 grams is too much...), coin pic aligned from the bust base (obverse).

40 réis of 1831 - R - Pará counterstamp (1835) for 20 Réis (real one, the fakes have the number digged out of the coin)
