I have the first 32 German Silver $10 euro's issued (5 or 6 per year) that I am ready to part with. Have no idea what their value might be so I am open to offers. All are uncirculated condition in 2X2 mylars. Make an offer and remember shipping across the big pond will cost a bit more.

These are pictures of the coinseries

The older coins are valued around 20-23.5 dollars apiece

150$ for 11 coins is the ebay asking price

Thanks PYW! I appreciate the information. Got a lot of coins that will have to find a home in the near future. Guess they belong in a young man's collection now!

I have thought this over and have decided to just take face value of $10 each for these Ten Euro GERMAN silver commemoratives. Email if you interested as I have all of them for the first 5 or 6 years after the introduction of the euro. Believe there are 32 of them.

I might be interested in one or two of them if you are willing to break up the set. I know I would like the Albert Einstein one.
Need to find a list of designs to see if there are others that interest me.

I forgot to mention that the european union slaps a 18 to 22% vat tax on anything silver
whence the canadian seller on ebay is 20% cheaper then any euro ebayer would be
Unfortunately , like twoshadows , I am on the selling side because after six years
of retirement ...

I believe Germany made the coins redeemable so any german can get 10 euro face value at his bank

:D
Sir August:
I am not sure about this. After the next day of issue, one has to pay premium to get these coins.
If I am wrong, kindly inform the name of Banks who sell at face value.

Sir George, I think you miss understand Sir August. The banks will buy the coins from you for face value, not sell them to you. :)

I think Germany is the only country where you can present yourself at a bank and "buy" the new 10 euro silver coin at face value upon issue
Also they will purchase back old coins at face value since they are real money
Other countries do too but I am not going to sell a 700 euro coin at the face value of 400 euro like spanish coins do
