New Presidential Dollars

Anyone have a bank in your area that distributes the new Presidential dollars. I need a roll of both the P and D mint marks of the latest release. Let me know if they are available in your area as getting them here is like pulling teeth out of a frog! It is not going to happen here!

Of course, if there are any available, they would be Denver mintmark.

Looking for a roll of each P and D and quite honestly I have not even checked to see which President was just released! How unAmerican is that? My banks will not get them so my only option is with the collectors here or paying a dealer a premium.

The latest release is James Madison.

I am also after 1 of each "P" and "D" mint marks (UNC) James Madison if anyone has spares.

Boy its pretty bad when an Aussie has to tell me what is going on with the U.S. mint releases? None the less it must be Madison I am looking for!

I meant to go by the bank today, but something came up. Will give it a shot tomorrow. I'm fairly certain they will have Madison Dollars in stock.

The Rolls are available in Banks. Please order them from U.S.Mint for extra premium of 5bucks. It is worth to pay.

Who knows. You may end up with a Roll, without Edge Lettering. Wish you Good Luck

Went by my bank and picked up a roll plus a few they had lying around.

Terry -- Do you want me to mail you a roll, or would you rather wait and get both P and D from someone?

Barry -- I can mail you a D if you wish.

Please let me know.

And Terry, if you want the roll, give me a suggestion as how to mail it to you.

Gary I would just mail it first class and, if you wrap it good it will probably survive in a bubble mailer. That would be the cheapest way to get them here. Make sure I get your TOTAL cost so I can reimburse you properly. Also if you have them throw in about 3 singles as well? Thanks! Now all I need is a roll of P's!!!

just for laughs, I took some madison dollars to the cafe two nights ago to leave as a tip after Laurie and I ate dinner, but the waitress freeked out, thinkiing they were gold until I informed her as to what they were. Funny to see her reac that way/ Jay

Gary your square bird is spreading it wings and should take flight immediately. If I wait a few more hours I can say it "flew the coop?"

I did manage to find a roll of P's yesterday so my needs are complete! Some days you get the bear and some days the bear gets you. It is nice to get him once in a while!!!
