Topher's Aussie wishlist
March 10, 2008, 06:51:53 AM
Looks like I'm caught up with one-year types, so a great big thanks to all who offered.  I'll be reviewing what I have and coming back to post my new and improved list soon.

Just noticed I still need a 2000 Millenium Incused 50c, if anyone has "rescued" one from circulation that they don't mind parting with.

Thanks everyone!

Topher,

I can send you the following:

20¢
2001 CoF Vic, NI, Tas
2001 Bradman
2003 Volunteers
2005 Coming Home

50¢
2002 Outback
2003 Volunteers
2004 Student Design
2005 Peace
2005 Commonwealth Games of 2006 (Issued in & dated 2005)

$1
2002 Outback
2003 Volunteer
2003 Suffrage
2005 60th Anniversary of WWII
2007 APEC

Don't know what this one is: 2007 Peace Keepers?

Ones in red were not on your list, so I'm not sure if you either have them or don't know about them.

I'll be happy to swap for Canadian coins.  Do you have Excel?  I can send you a spreadsheet of the Canadian coins I have, so you'd know what NOT to send.

The following are other normal circulating coins since 2002:

20¢ Platypus
2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007

50¢ CoA (Coat of Arms)
2004, 2006, 2007

$1 Mob of Roos
2004, 2005, 2006

Some collectors have reported either getting or seeing circulation 2008 20¢ & 50¢, but so far I've got neither.

Let me know if you already have any of these & PM your postal address to me & I'll get a package together for you.

2007 Peacekeepers wasn't issued for circulation - came in a carded version for $12.95.  Happy to get that if you want it.

Topher:

Do you have the 2001 Centenary of Federation One-Dollar coin?
And do you have the 1995 United Nations twenty-cent coin?
Also, any older fifty-cent coins that you need?  Captain Cook?  2000 Royal Visit?  Any others?
I also have almost all of the 2001 Federation fifty-cent coins for various states (except SA).
Let me know if there is anything that I can help you with?

Snooba.    :) :) :)

Topher, I've got about 5 of the 1966 Silver content fifty centers.  I'd be willing to part with one, as soon as I find out where I've packed them; however I haven't got any idea what I'd like to trade it for nor when I might be able to get it mailed out to you.  Either way, you can PM me about it if you're interested?

Do add this coin to my collection?

I think I got them all, but I'll check RGGoodies spreadsheet to be sure.

I managed to scoop all of them up when I worked at the Telstra Shop, but the 20c were a lot harder to find and I didn't get all of them until just now.

Four and Twenties, Toohey's New, The Footy Show (NRL), Water Rats, where should I stop?  LOL

Thanks - and don't worry, there will be plenty of other Aussie coins on my wish list.  One goal at a time.  :D

Topher, the silver 50 cent coin went into the mail today.  I was going to send it last week, but it got tied up in my husband's glovebox same as my Secret Bunny gifts. o.0  Apologies.  I hope it makes it to you safely and speedily!

I've also got a stash of silver 1966 round 50 cent coins some of which appear to be the faint double bar variety.

If anyone wants to swap Canadian or USA quarters and dollars for any, I would be happy to trade.

Got packages today, one from sunny San Antonio, and the other from Down Under.  Thank you to the both of you.  I'll work on the return gifts in the coming days, now that the Topher-mobile is back on the roads.  (no wisecracks, please!  :D  )
