A couple days late, but here's the contest, and prize.
First the prize.
1. A selection of Presidential Dollars and Statehood Quarters.
or
2. The thought occured to me that if the winner is from the U.S., he/she might nort be interested in the U.S. coins. So, choice No. 2 would be 20 foreign (to me anyway) coins. Some are without holders, while others are in 2X2's, with identifications.
Now the contest. It will run until next Friday afternoon (MST). On my desk is a round jar entitled "Cruise Fund." It's one way the wife and I have of saving for a vacation. The jar is 4 1/2 inches high, and about five inches across at its widest point. Next Tuesday or Wednesday we will take it to the credit union and use their coin counting machine to see how much was in there. It is jam packed full, in fact the cork top no longer fits. There are no pennies in the jar -- I have other places I put them.
So, whoever comes closest to how much money (U.S.) is in the jar can choose from either of the prizes offered.
