Rcvd at the bank, the teller was someone I don't usually go to, she said she had had this for awhile, and wouldn't sell it to the other teller that usually gets me the good stuff(if she doesn't buy it first)
-
Ok help me out of my misery
What is the new style ? ( and I got enough copies of toiletpaper thank you ;D )
-
New style refers to the large head notes that are currently in circulation, these older notes are not seen much anymore.
-
Is this the one your refering to the new note I mean,

It's been a while back since I got this one, but someone bought a couple of Whoppers with it at Burger King one evening. Needless to say I snatched it up, even though paper money isn't one of my focuses.

At last some really nice paper to look at. Really nice notes ever one. 8)

Earliest notes I have gotten are several 1934 dated notes over the past few years, mostly in the last year or so with people starting to spend older stuff. 1928 is a better find, notice the gold clause on it.

Very nice note, Miss Kitty! :) Here's my 10-spot! Lucky "7" ;D

Well if every one else is going to show off there $10 I think I will just join in my self. ;D

Not circulation find, but thanks to the kindness of The Templar I finally have a Barr note, which is something I have wanted for a long time.
:) :) :) :)
-
Very nice guys!
-
Best I can offer is a $5, but at least it's a * note.

Now I am back in the USofA, changed money at my bank and got these yesterday:

The second note down would have been worth a decent amount over face, notice the lowish serial number and the star from a scarce district no less - but somebody tore the note and taped it - and the tape is new - scotch tape. >:(
At another bank I got an EF-AU Series 1963-A red seal $2, but I already put that one away before I got a chance to image it.
-
Awesome notes Scottishmoney! Thanks for sharing! ;D
-
Interesting. If I was just starting to collect, and had the funds, I would definitely collect notes.
:) :) :) :)

SOME VERY NICE NOTES--THANKS FOR SHARING AND REMEMBER THAT THE STAR NOTES ARE WORTH A LITTLE MORE REGARDLESS OF THE CONDITION---JACKSON WAS MOVED FROM THE LARGE $10 BILL TO THE SMALL $20--SO THOSE LARGE TENS ARE UNIQUE!
