The $2 are really nice and the Silver certificate is also. Do you ever run across any bills with a counter stamp on them up North?
-
What do you mean by "counter stamp"? :)

Folks stamp different things on the bills. Like the Where's George. I know you have seen this one. I have seen different things on them over the years and was just wondering if any one collected them.
-
O.K. I see what you mean now. Yes, I've seen "Where's George?", and also I have a few $2 notes with a 13 cent stamp & postmark from 1976 on them. ;D
-
I have a wheres George stamp.
We stamp all the $1 bills before spending them on our road trips..
Had one $1 make it all the way to Croatia...

ONE OF OUR CLUB MEMBERS GOES TO THE BANK AND BUYS A STACK OF CRISP ONE DOLLAR BILLS AND STAMPS THEM "WHERE'S GEORGE.COM"......YOU GO ON LINE AND PUT IN THE SERIAL NUMBER AND WHERE YOU GOT IT AND HE IS ABLE TO TRACK WHERE THE BILL HAS GONE----IT IS KINDA NEAT TO CHECK OUT ITS PROGRESS---SOME YEARS AGO IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN----SOLDIERS WERE PAID IN $2.00 BILLS ON THE BASE AND THEN TRACKED BY THE BANKS IN AND AROUND THE TOWN TO SEE HOW MUCH THE SOLDIERS WERE SPENDING IN THE AREA--I DON'T KNOW THE OUTCOME---SORRY
