We have less than a week before the ordering deadline for the 2008 Medallions. It appears now that 109 medallions have been ordered and I do believe we should be in great shape after all payments are received. Last year we ordered, if I do remember correctly, a total of 167 medallions so we are short of that number but financially in good shape due to the numerous contests and donations received over the past year. While I am not certain at this time I think we will have reached a safe point if we use whatever we may need from the Royal Treasury.
I still want to encourage members to place those orders and get the payment in, if possible, by Nov. 5th. Thanks to everyone for your dreams and support when it comes to our projects. No one else on line has done what we have done and will continue to do!

I am not really a medal collector, but the KOTCT medals are an important, and beautiful, part of my collection.

I especially like the 63mm ones.

They are fantastic medals by a great designer, and for a wonderful organization.

You must specify your order more clearly.
The silver medals are $35 each, satin or proof finish -- one or the other, not both.
Same goes for copper medals: $15 each, satin or proof finish -- one or the other, not both.
Pewter is only one option: $12 each.
Postage is $6.00

Hmmm, I really don't know how Davidson would be able to get the funds to me.  All the Aussies have done transfers directly to my CBA Bank A/c but I don't know it that can be done from Nauru.

The log is nearly complete, save for the question on what Buda is attempting to do in terms of having some sort of last serial numbered silver medal specially numbered, etc., for an eBay sale to benefit the Castle here. You folks gotta figure that out for yourselves, I'm just keeping th log.

Otherwise, so far there are 46 silver medals ordered in either finish and 38 copper in either finish, plus 31 63mm pewter medals.

OK, here's the medal orders log being sent out to those who are responsible for getting the rest of the job done, and for knights and knightesses to check for their personal orders:

As you can see, we have orders for a total of:
55 silver medals, 33 of them proof finish
47 copper medals, 28 of them proof finish
and 34 of the large pewter medals

Included now at the end of the order is a special silver medal to be numbered with the amount of the combined silver strikes (e.g., #55) which will then be auctioned off to benefit the Castle here.

I have been in contact with Snooba concerning her medallion order and have accepted a change from her. She will drop the satin silver and satin copper from her order. The satin silver has already been sold to another Knight and the satin copper is in the mail, at this time, to me. It will be sold when the opportunity presents itself. There will be no changes made in monies coming in or total expenses as nothing has changed other than the name of the member receiving these two medallions.
