Unlike British crowns of the same time period, the Australian crown is sterling silver. There's US$13.50 there in silver alone.

It is a nice coin to own.
I saw in the Coin Sshow, Charlotte that it was priced for $80 unc
and
1938 for $150

Excellent as base coins for over stamps due to size. Nice silver content but variable in hardness.
