Wow, that 1946 penny, that's a winner with only about 1/3rd million minted. You should try to brighten it by using a wire brush.

YES....I WAS KIDDING!! A little jocularity is needed now and then. But I do remember finding old pennies (1950s) and sitting in school last century and getting such a 'kick' out of turning that dull, meaningless brown cent into a masterpiece by using an eraser.

I HAVE USED AN ERASER ON A COINMANY YEARS AGO AND ALL THAT I GOT WAS A LINCOLN CLEAR PLANCHETT----YOU GOT TO KNOW WHEN TO HOLD THEN AND KNOW WHEN TO FOLD THEN----I MEAN PUT THEM DOWN.............

Nice coins.  I don't know why they call shillings Bob, but I do know Bobby means little man with big stick who hits hard and often.    Not that I would know anything about such things  must of been some of my buddy told me this when I was in the serves.
