Strange happenings
October 28, 2007, 08:20:45 PM
Is anyone having trouble with the Aussie part of this forum? I posted a reply to Scoutjim in a thread after he enquired about the Dansco albums and the next day it was gone. I thought it was oldtimers disease hitting early so I posted a different answer the next night, checked that it did actually appear, and the next day it was gone AGAIN.

I have missed getting some PM's and have sent others but got no reply. I sent a PM to BM1947 yesterday who is a Global Moderator and no reply.

Is it my BO? Do I stink that bad?  ;D  :-X
I suddenly feel unwanted  :'(  :-[
Please let me know what is wrong. PRETTY PLEASE.  :-*

*Laughs softly*  Don't worry Rusty, I was going just as crazy as you.

What was happening was just a few growing pains.  Our new Backup system wasn't quite in sync with our Host, GoDaddy, and we managed to lose a few posts in the interrim.  Nothing at all to be worried about, although I was going just as crazy because I -knew- I had replied to certain posts.  Not only once, but -twice.-

I had to admit, I kept checking to see if my fooddish had been kicked out to the sidewalk. ^^

Do add this coin to my collection?

Thank you for that Ellekitty,
I was starting to imagine that I was losing the plot, althought there are those that would state that I never had the plot to start with.  ;D
Most importantly, I now know that my ramblings are actually viewable. Cheers.  :)

Hi Rusty.....did not get your PM.  Had a couple of members email me about this problem and I replied back to them.

Looks like you PM went into the 'BLACK HOLE' with a few posts.

And all this time I thought we were just messing with ElleKitty! So Rusty was in on the prank as well?

Glad you mentioned this problem Rusty - I was feeling quite paranoid when I finally put in a few posts only to find they disappeared.
