Aussie 3d error coin
September 29, 2008, 10:02:38 AM
I bought this coin a day or so ago, just waiting on it to arrive in the mail from New Mexico. :D

Australian threepence, 1960.  And it IS 1960, I don't care what date is stamped right on!

Edit:  Hey, it's not my fault the 0 and 1 keys are so close together on the numberpad!  ;D

Do add this coin to my collection?

Nice error, I haven't seen a 1961 on a 1960 coin before. LOL

Very nice! The "Blakesley Effect" is easy to see on the reverse.

Now Kitty, what did you have to go and change the date for.
Now nobody will know what the heck we are talking about. LOL
