Title: Overstamped 1937 Crown

The Australian Numismatic Society had silver 1937 Crowns over-stamped for their conference in 2010.

Is that legal? I thought these were still legal tender.

Yes they are legal........pre-decimal coins can be cashed in at the Reserve Bank but you cannot use them to make purchases.
