Extra US state quarters for trade (update)
August 01, 2008, 07:43:21 AM
Hi,
I have a few more UNC state quarters I picked up.
Since I have not heard from a collector who expressed trading interest, these will be open to everyone:  :)

All are from UNC mint rolls.
2008 New Mexico (2)  Denver mint
2008 New Mexico (1)  Philadelphia mint  --1 sent to DL20K
2008 Arizona Philadelphia mint (1) --sent to DL20K
2008 Arizona Denver mint (1)

I'll trade for Aussie or other world coins--basically open to your suggestions.  ;D

I'm after 2 each of both Arizona coins.  What Aussie coins could I tempt you with?  ;D ;D

Hey Kurt, Did I send you any coins for this trade?  I can't remember!  I know the coins from you arrived OK.

My short term memory is kaput, so I think I'm gonig to have to start a list of everything I receive in trade & what I send , so I know where I'm at.

Nancy,
I received word on 19.8 that you received them...do you usually write when you send something too?
I'll look out for the turtle--thanks!  :)

Are these state quarters still available?
I don't collect by mintmark, so any will be allright.

Hi,
Yes these are still available. Do you have some ideas for a trade?  :)
I'm pretty open to any world coins I don't already have.  I'm sending a coin to Erik on Monday, after which I can work on this.

Yes, thank you for answering, in fact I do have an idea  ;)
I hope it's not too much to ask you to PM/email me, so I can send you the details. In any other situation, I'd do it, but I'm new and unacqainted with the messaging system here.  ???

Kurt, I usually do PM when I've posted coins.  I think I do owe you a trade for the 2 Arizona coins, so will get something together for you in the next few days. Sorry it's taken so long.

The messaging system isn't too difficult.  You can look at the bottom left-hand corner of any post of the person whom you wish to contact.   There are three icons on every post; the little person takes you to the profile, the envelope allows you to email, the word balloon offers the Private Message option.

You can also do these things from a person's profile page. :)

Do add this coin to my collection?

As an update on trades...packages to Erik, DL20K, and LordPercy have been mailed.
LordPercy's shipped today, and I found some extras: a few Lincolns from the "teens", and a cool die break from 2007.
I hope all of these arrive quickly with no surprises--enjoy!  :)

I also wanted to thank Humpybong for the great trade!  :)
I received the Scout Dollar plus some interesting predecimal coins with die breaks and other details.
Thank you very much!

Hi Kurt, I received the State Quarters today. Thankyou so much! They are in excellent condition. Also, the three one cent coins were a bonus surprise! My first US cents! Very kind of you. I especially like the die crack. Thanks mate.

LordPercy,
You're welcome--glad you like that group!  :) Fast shipping too--I'll post here when you trade arrives.
I have plenty more old Lincolns I should offer up for trade. 1915 through the 50s.

Re: Extra US state quarters for trade (update)

If anyone needs that extra special quarter, or perhaps just one or two to complete a collection, let me see if I can help.

In 1999 I purchased one of those plastic tray holders.  It holds 50 trays.  Most people use them for nuts, bolts, and nails.  I use mine for Statehood Quarters.

I have at least one or two of all the ones issued so far (49).  The extra trays currently hold Presidential dollars.

The only problem with my Statehood Quarters is that they are about 95 percent Denver mint.

I don't keep any, and add them to the trays, unless thet are very nice condition.

Se, fellow members -- can I help you?

 :) :) :) :)

OldDan,

You have always been a super member of KOTCT, and all this hard work will be appreciated by those who receive the sets.

I guess one is never too old to learn, and I really need to learn how to grade.  I have no idea what grade my Statehood Quarters are, just that they are nice and shiny, and most appear to be uncirculated.

 :) :) :) :)
