The dies are engraved and heat-treated (hardened).
They would still need to be polished for proof-like strikes.
But they are presently in a suitable state for brilliant satin strikes.
So I think it is time to start taking orders.
It is hard to know what will look best until some are actually minted, but a decision first has to be made on what varieties will be available.
Based on prior production results, these are the options that I intend to offer and the cost for each:
[BB] 39mm brass brilliant-satin: $15.
[BA] 39mm brass antiqued: $30.
[CP] 39mm copper proof-like (un-toned): $15.
[CT] 39mm copper proof-like (color-toned): $25.
[SS] 39mm 999 silver brilliant-satin (1 troy oz): $35.
[SP] 39mm 999 silver proof-like (1 troy oz): $40.
[SL] 50mm 999 silver proof-like (100 grams): $90.
HOW TO ORDER:
First decide what medal(s) and how many of each to order.
Calculate the total amount and add $10 for shipping (flat rate, regardless of order quantity and shipping location).
Go to this product page on my web site:
http://www.dc-coin.com/2001apolloastronautlargebronzemodelproof-1-1.aspxPlace in your cart a quantity that matches the dollar amount of your order (for example, put a quantity of 110 in your cart if your order total is $110 with shipping).
In the "Customer Notes" section of the order, first write your KotCT ID.
Then write the quantity of each medal to order, using the two-letter code for each option listed above. For example, like this: "5-BB, 3-SL".
Lastly, check out with your shopping cart. You will be given payment options of: credit card; PayPal; mailed check.
I expect the ordering window to last a few weeks, at least.
So you can take some time to decide what to order.
To keep things simple, I request that all Knights place only one order for all the medals they want.
