Try drinking water prior to meals , apparently it works ...

One of my friends have tried that and it is very effective  ;)

This is another common sense report that some school probably received millions of taxpayer dollars to do reasearch on. I remember a guy who got thousands of taxpayer dollars to study solar energy after putting a solar panel on an outhouse. All he had to do was monitor the temperature three times and day and the money kept coming. You got to just love government don't you. I know in the 60's they gave a college $125,000 a year to do a study on why children fall off of tricycles. Money well spent! ;)

This is a large sum of money, especially in the 60's.
But if the there was increased incidence of fractures in children resulting from falling off of tricycles, and taking in consideration the health and safety of children and how much the treatment of this type of accidents costs per year.

I guess it is a good point of research to try to find preventive measures for these accidents.

But still $125,000 a year is a lot of money in the 60's to fund a research with this aim whatever the methodology of the research is.

I think finding the cause and may be making some modifications in the tricycles design would cost much less money and take less time as well.  :)

I came off mine because I was going down hill and had no brakes. The pond at the bottom of the hill was another problem,
I couldn't swim either. Fortunately I was rescued from the pond. And no! that wasn't recently LOL. it was about 47 years ago
and I'm still have vivid memory of it.

I feel off mine becouse of that big sand rock my brother laid up the side of my head. Does this make up tricycle researchers?  ???  Will the Gov. give us money for this?  ??? The Castle could use some extra cash in the old strong box.  ;D

I guess the point I was trying to make was KIDS FALL OFF OF THINGS and there is nothing we can do to stop it! Money just won't cure it! ;)

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IF THESE SCIENTISTS HAD MET IN A BAR  AND BRAIN STORMED.....THEY MIGHT HAVE COME UP WITH SOME REASONS FOR FALLING OFF THE TRICYCLES FOR A LOT LESS THAN $125,000.......
SOME THOUGHTS:
   1...THE KID WAS TOO YOUNG
   2...THE TRIKE WAS TOO BIG
   3...GRAVITY
   4...A BIG HILL
5...THE OLD MAN WAS PUSHING TO FAST
6...THE OLD MAN WAS TOO BIG FOR THE TRIKE
   7...THE KID HAD BEEN DRINKING
8...THE OLD MAN HAD BEEN DRINKING
9...THE OLD MAN SHOULD NOT HAVE PUT A MOTOR ON A TRICYCLE
10..THE KID CAME FROM A FAMILY OF KLUTZES

RESULTS-----A BAR BILL FOR $50(DEPENDING ON HOW MANY SCIENTISTS TAKE PART IN THE THOUGHT PROCESS)
