Please place your order as soon as possible, and be ready to write a check and send it at the beginning of May. I will only be using paypal for those that are overseas.
Here is the order list. I will start calculating prices once we have general numbers of how many of each medal people would like. Prices will probably be similar to last year if we have about the same interest. The design will be of Daniels creation.
The choices are:

39mm 1oz Silver Cob Colored/Antiqued

Thanks
I'm in for some as well. Thanks to Dwhiz and the guys from CoinTalk for spreading the word about this.Agreed.
Here is the final order list, the price calculating list, and a chart with the final prices. I used a spot price of $17, which will not be locked in until Daniel buys the silver. This will be after all the funds are collected and sent to Daniel. Although unlikely, if spot goes way over $17 at the time the silver is purchased, we may have to collect more funds. Shipping is included just like last year. Any leftover funds will stay with the treasury.Got my check book ready
I have to run a few more calculations to make sure the numbers are right, and I will start collecting funds after that.
All payments will be made by check unless you are outside the US. For those who don't know, Paypal froze about $8000 last year, and it was a mess.
Read the thread in last years medal quest for more info. I think they wanted to see immediate tracking numbers (they guarantee purchases) since so much cash was coming in all at once. We are avoiding Paypal as much as possible. If this is your first year making an order, or if your information has changed form last year, please message me the following information:
- The address that you would like your medals shipped to
- A good contact email
More to come
Last year we seen the first cad rendering in November. It is still pretty early as far as this process goes. I haven't heard anything on the design from Daniel other than what has been posted here. I will not be rushing him, and i'm sure it will be worth the wait (however long it is). That's fine, but Daniel himself said he was hoping to have them completed by the end of May, because he wanted the second half of the year to work on his personal projects.
Dan had a (very) limited run of Indium coins for the 2018 Blair Academy 170th Anniversary Medals.
So is the Indium coin experiment being tested for us? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cant wait to see it I like what I seen on his web site. Thank you for the tip.
Is it too late to get in on the 2018 medals?
Hi Cheezy!Thank you!
Maybe if you were to place a post in Coins Wanted (http://kotct2017.knightsofthecointable.com/index.php?board=55.0), maybe some of us could part with some duplicates. You'll just need to let us know where your wanting to start.
Any and all of us will do what we can to help you turn your "Swiss Cheese" collection into a "Sharp Cheddar"!(Sorry folks, I couldn't resist... OK?)
All for now,
TKO™
Dan, thanks for the detailed update!...
I guess I was out of the loop regarding the medals, my fault.....🙁
Is there any way I can order some, or is it to late?.
Stefanie
That would be wonderful. I’m not sure what you might have available but
I love the 2 ounce color toned silver, overstruck Churchill, one ounce silver Cobb.
Pretty much any silver one :)
Stefanie
Please put me on the list for any extras as well. I've been too busy and missed the order this time around!
