Ebay auction for Denars from Hungary
January 16, 2015, 02:01:39 PM
I came across this auction on ebay for a lot of 7 silver Denars from Hungary.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hungary-Ferdinand-I-Silver-Denar-Lot-of-7-Various-Dates-/271736844921?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item3f44c73279

They look pretty cool and I was thinking about bidding on them, but I am very unsure about the authenticity.  I am also unsure about the values of them.  The auction ends in about 14 hours.  Is anybody familiar with these types of coins?  I would like to bid on them if they are authentic, but I don't know what a good value on them is.  I do like them, but just i'm just not sure about them.  Any thoughts?  Not much time left on the auction.

I think you should ask the seller and see what he says.

He seems to have a good sales record but you can never tell.

I sent a message asking if he could guarantee that they are authentic, and how. He has another listing which is a buy it now with some old rectangular Japanese coins.

They look pretty interesting too. I wouldn't want 5 of them, but they are pretty interesting  coins.  I would be nervous  about  buying fakes with these too. There have to be a lot of knock offs out there.

I think If you want to buy so Ferdinand denars are better. They are looking more authentic too.
